Dr. Robert Adair's other daughter,
Diana Adair married Charles John Clavering Dec 21 1799 at Saint Anne Soho Church, Westminster, London.
Both of Dr. Robert Adair's son-in-laws' families, Clavering and Barrington,
may have featured in the American War of Independence. refer:

In 1768 the 64th Regiment embarked at Cork, Ireland and proceeded to Boston.
