Hi! This is very interesting. Green Street is in North Beach near where my father was born in 1911. Many of the family moved to the Excelsior (it was considered a step up for many of the Italians - less crowded, with single family houses) in the late teens and twenties. My grandfather purchased a brand new house in the Excelsior in 1921. All of the names you mention sound familiar, and that gives me something to go on when I talk to my aunt. My mother will be 80 next month. She is not reliable with information on my father's family. My aunt knows. She also has all of the connections with other family members who know things. Any other names or other information you can get will help. By the way, an exact address can be used to search property records at San Francsico City Hall. I've done it before and it is easy, but you have to have an exact address, and at least an approximate date.
