Adelsbach , Soldier posted in Uk 2nd War

Hi,
I have a very difficult task. I am trying to trace a soldier who was posted in the Uk during the 2nd World War. All I know is that his name was Adelsbach, no christian name. He had a love affair whilst in the UK with my ex mother in law. This affair produced two children Michael Lawrence Fletcher and Jean Fletcher [Fletcher being their mother's name]The children were born in Surrey in the early 1940's. After the war he went back to his own country, I am not sure where that was. I know that she tried to trace him through his regiment and discovered that he was already married with a family. She heard some time later that he had divorced his wife and married an Italian lady and gone to live in Canada.
I,m afraid this is all the information I have. I promised my daughter that I would try to trace her grandfather , so maybe through this list I may have some luck. If anyone has any suggestions I would be glad to hear them. Thanks
