Native Roots for Dionne-Deshetres (or DeHetre)

My grandmother, Nelida Dionne, whose father was Joseph Dionne mother was Oliva Deshetres (or DeHetre) was reportedly American Indian. The rootsof both families are in Province of Quebec, Canada and she lived her life in Brunswick, Maine. I'm trying to trace that throught either the Dionne or DesHetres sides of her family. Can anyone help me? Thanks.
