Yes, I've seen all of the census data on her, however, none of it agrees with anything else. We do know from indirect evidence that she simply "adopted" Hunt Co. TX as her birthplace because that was the home of the family that "took her in." She was orphaned very young and likely knew little about her parents, and it is clear that she was just guessing or covering up when it came to the census taker. In fact, she can't be found in the1880 census at all, and I suspect the reason is because she was still on the reservation at that time.
Appreciate your taking the time to try and help; I am going to check the other website you suggested as soon as I can get to it.
