I think I found the person you were looking for at genealogy.com. Daughter of Samuel C. Aldridge, who served int he Civil War on the Union Side, 27th Ky. Vol. Inf. as a private. He was discharged march 22 1865. His first wife was Matilda McCoy who died of consumption in 1848. Married Amanda Malvina Seeley in 1849. Mary Adeline Aldridge Born sometime in 1870 Died 11/08.1959 She ws 5 months old in 1870 census. Her stone reads in Cap anderson Cemetary reads 11/19/1967. Married 09/26/1887 Meade County to John Shrewsbury. Ateline's daughter-in-law releates that Adeline was credited for delivering a large number of babies as a midwife. She would walk for miles to help someone in need. Adeline would tell her children of her Grandpap (Samuel Aldridge) predicting the future. He predicted that some day people would be flying in the air, and they would have their toilets in the house. Children: Willima Acey Shreswbury married 12/05/1905 Sudie Hultz Ella J.
