I am looking for a first and / or middle name of an N. Aldridge who had a store at Fort Herkimer (Fort-Herkemer), NY. Or any information on any Aldridge family in Herkimer NY around this time.
He issued a script (note) worth one penny at his store dated 16 January 1792.
I have many relatives that lived in Fort Herkimer and this area in the 1700-1800s. I am not related as far as I know to N. Aldridge.
