He was the son of Marcus(Marchus) Aldridge(Oldridge, Oldrage)and Elmira D Galloway (Galaway). Granville Aldridge and Willian J Aldridge are listed with John W Galloway and family on the 1860 census, Granville is listed with Marchus and Elmira on the 1850 census in Perry, Indiana. There is a Robert & Margaret Galaway listed with them on the 1850 census. I am researching the Galloway line and feel that maybe someone know more about Marcus & Emira. I found a daughter, Verinda who dies in Grayson, KY in 1859 at 4 months of age, but have not been able to find Marcus and Elmira after the 1850 census. If anyone has info I would appreciate the help.
