Does the senator's use of his middle name Lamar indicate that he has some Lamar family? I did see a Polly Lamar mentioned in my searching. It appears that some of the Alexanders and several of the Lamars started out in Maryland, especially Frederick County. Like many from Maryland, the Lamars went far and wide from there including IN, GA, SC etc. Any help on this would be appreciated.
