I'm researching the family of James Alexander b. ca 1755, d. 1816 Orange Co. . Parents and wife unknown. Children listed in a will are: John (m. Elizabeth), James Jr., Mary (m. Freeman Burrow b.1770), Elizabeth (m. Joel Burrow), Archibald,and Thomas (b. ca 1773, m. Mary Hornaday 1803 at Cane Creek, Orange Co., NC, d. 1847 IN.
I cannot locate a copy of James Alexander's will. If anyone has it, I would be most appreciative if you could share it with me. I'm hoping it provides clues about his family. His family shadows mine in a migration route.
