Dear Ada: I will contact you by regular email to introduce you to the Isaac Alexander descendant's sponsor. I think you two would greatly benefit by comparing notes and other information!! I just looked up the digitized version of “Records of a Family of the House of Alexander from 1640 to 1909” Francis Alexander Butterworth which is dealing with the David Alexander whose Mecklenburg will is dated May 1796 (wife Elizabeth, children: Joel, Thomas, David [Jr], Isaac, Ephraim, Mary, Sarah, Fannie). His sons, Isaac and Ephraim were executors of the 1796 will. Butterworth also includes a deed between this David and Isaac in 1794. The Wilson Co, TN Isaac was born c1789 (if I'm remembering correctly), so much too young to be the son of this David. There were -- amazingly -- quite a number of Isaac Alexander's connected to the Seven Brothers/Two Sisters. I've tried to track some down for the DNA participant -- with no success. That's part of why I'm so excited to put you two in touch. Carol Vass Kent, WA Notify Administrator about this message?
