I was looking for my wife's gg grandmother, Lydia Alexander m. July 4, 1865 (Bastrop Co, Tx) Brinkley H. Tyler b 1837 Ms. My info was that her parents were John McCoy Alexander b. 1818 Wilson Co, Tn. and Drucilla McGee.

I found some names common to yours in 1880 Bastop Co, but they are listed as Farmer, not Doctors.
It's a long shot that they are yours but have similar names?
Note: that Jos Alexander named daughter Drennan and that John Alexander 75 Tn has wife whose name appears to be Hardinor (very hard to read)and a Henry Alexander 36 Tn is further down the same page.
