Have you checked out the family in Alexander Co, North Carolina. Stateville is where my Great-grandfater John Ivey Quinton Alexander had a rather large family there. His father name was Leander and his wife's name was Jenny Lewis Alexander, Jenny was the dughter of Thomas and Mary Ellis Lewis from Maryland. Julius Walter Dagenhart, son Julius Franklin, Frank married Jane Lottie Alexander, Her parents were Lavina Sigman and John I Q Alexander. There all over Virginia.
