Hi Sue, thank you for your response. My William Perry was born in or around 1832-35 in Mecklenburg county NC (Charlotte). He was married in Nov. 3, 1857 to Susan Jane Griffith. He died in 1914 in Arkansas and is buried in Black Oak Arkansas. It is suggested that he had a brother L.J. No one knows what L.J. stands for and this could be misinformation. I have info concerning his military records, children, where he lived and died. According to what has been said Susan Jane died in 1904 (not verified) and William Perry had been in Texas since 1900. Census records have verified this. I need to get info on his parents. He had no birth certificate and no other records mention his parents. His parents are the big question. If you have any other info I would greatly appreciate hearing from you. Thank you...Janet
