Alexander of Alexander Funeral Homes His WW1 Draft Card says he is married to Emma C and was born December 18, 1873. His name on the card was written as Charley Carles Alexander. His obituary list his parents as Hugh Alexander and Mary Susan Smalling. At the time of his marriage to Emma, he was in Macon County, TN. The 1900 census shows that he and Emma had been married 5 years so 1885. At the time of the 1880 census he would have been 6 so why he is not listed here I don't know. The 1890 census of course is unavailable due to the fire. I am still trying to establish whether this Hugh Alexander and Mary Emaline were his parents. Any assistance in this area is appreciated. Thank you, Charla Notify Administrator about this message?
