Do you know of, or related to Charm Crumrine? She has posted about James Patterson Alexander and Ellis in the past on Ancestry.com, but I haven't seen anything from her recently. My Alexanders are also from Oxford - in the same types of business as the above Alexanders at about the same time- but we do not seem to be related! I sent her several obits, etc. that I happen to have copies of from the Chester Co. Historical Society. Is the Edith you are looking for the one married to James P. in 1867? She is Martha Edith Foy, daughter of Wm. & Martha Jane Galloway Foy, born in Lewisville (MD).
