I'm a Fulton hunter seeking assistance with the Alexander family, specifically a Patrick Alexander who was living in Lancaster Co, PA, in 1748. Here's what I've found: On 16 August 1748, Jane Fulton and Patrick Alexander "both of the County of Lancaster, and Province of Pennsylvania" posted thirty pounds bond regarding their administration of the estate of "Thomas Fulton, deceased, unadministered by Samuel Fulton, deceased." Yes, that's exactly how the bond is written ... Thomas Fulton of Lancaster Co, PA, died intestate, and in April 1747, Samuel Fulton posted fifty pounds bond for his administration of Thomas Fulton's estate. The final accounting was due the following May, 1748. But, Samuel Fulton died and, therefore, the Thomas Fulton estate was still "unadministered." So, here we are in August 1748, Jane Fulton [no relationship stated] along with Patrick Alexander are the new Administrators of the Thomas Fulton estate. Who is this Patrick Alexander? Could he be the Patrick Alexander of Oxford Twp, Chester Co, PA, buried 1783 at Fagg's Manor Presbyterian Church? If so, what can you tell me about this Patrick Alexander? Or, do you know of another Patrick Alexander that I should consider? Patrice (Fulton) Stark Lone Tree, Colorado Notify Administrator about this message?
