In Reply to: Jesse Albert Alexander, Mifflin County, PA by David Alexander of 11990

I have found some additional information on this that I'll post. Perhaps it will allow for some connections with the work someone else has done this far.

Jesse A. was first married to Kate Sankey on 11/24/1884. Kate was born in Belleville, Pa and died on Sept 14, 1896 from brain fever in Reedsville, Pa. They had 3 children Lena (b Sept 1885), Eva (Apr 1888), and John Earl (went by Earl) (b Jul 1890).

I found a lising of Jesse's marriage license for his second wife (Beulah Rowe) at the historical society. It has his parents listed as Albert and Mary.

Other tibits that I've pieced together: from the federal census Jesse's answered that his parents were both born in PA, and in the obit for Jesse it mentions that he is survived by 3 sisters. Unfortunately, it didn't give names or locations for his surviving sisters.

I participated in Y-DNA project and don't tie in with the James Alexander line that where numerous in that area (Mifflin County) at the time. I don't really match with the 7+3 line either.

If anyone has any bits that may help me move forward or suggestions...I'd appreciated it. Also, Thanks to the David Alexander that posted this question on my behalf.
