Ada,

Issac Alexander, son of David who died in 1796 in Mecklenburg County NC, was living in Alabama in 1829. This information is given in a letter written by my g.g.g.grandfather Daniel Alexander in 1833, which is on pp 61-64 of Mrs. Butterworth's book - A Record of A House of Alexander From 1640-1909. This Issac was born before 1780 when David Alexander came to Mecklenburg County NC from Cecil County Maryland.
