Hi Pat: As you can see I am Pat also. I am related to the Alguires from the Stormont/Osnabruck area of eastern Ontario. Tonight was the first time I've gone on this site and I see your message was posted way back in 2000. It's funny that I have just been writing up the family of William Riley Alguire and Adelaide Losey and have found quite a lot on them. Your item told me that Henry M . was married to Polly Ann Brownell. I was particularly interested in info I received about George W.J. Barker married to Jane Alguire. I do have Joseph, Kenneth & Cecil and Stanley listed as children of Charles Erastus Alguire and Esther Maria Meredith. Are you looking for info re a certain line of the family? I have quite a bit but might not have what you are looking for. My grandmother was Esther Alguire dau. of Andrew Alguire and Elizabeth Graham and we are from the John David Alguire/Jane Duff line. I never knew until the last year or so about the Alguires of Manitoba. I've been there on several occasions to visit family on my husband's side but never knew about my own connections there.
