Hello Daryl. Most of the info agrees with what I have researched with a couple exceptions. They being William Allan birthdate in 1748. The only one I could was for one in 1724. Also Elizabeth birthdate you stated as being 1752 but I have a christening as 03 July 1748 at the Chapel of Garioch in Rayne,Aberdeen.According the OPR they had 3 sons-John, William & James.
Also the exact date that Robert Allan died I have been unable to pinpoint the exact time as yet. According to what I found that he was in 1861 census but Jane was widow in 1871 census.Also the land records having James Allan-as son and heir of Robert Allan in July of 1879.
Otherwise everything else is what I have researched.
BTW Where do you fit in this? what branch of Robert/Jane? My great grandfather is William Allan who was the 3rd son and fourth child of Robert/Jane.
