I'm gonna try one more time! I've been searching for more info on my Allen family for 39 yrs.! Can anyone place this Allen family with their earlier Allen family. All these are in some way related to each other.
Nancy Allen - b. 1780 - maybe in NC - possibly the mother.
Hiram Allen - b. 1812 GA married Martha Stewart 1859 in Upson Co., GA. He may have been married before.
Mary Allen - b. 1829 - married John Edmonson 1858 Upson Co., GA
Elizabeth Allen- b. 1820
Elizabeth Allen - b. 1813
Job Allen - b. 1827 GA - married Francis McMichael - Crawford Co., GA
Hannah M.M. Allen - b. @1809 married John Parks 1829 in Bibb Co., GA. Hannah died 1857 and John Parks married an Elizabeth Allen in 1858 in Upson Co., GA possibly one of the Elizabeths mentioned above.
Job is my ancestor - all of these Allens have been mentioned together with Job in either census records or in Bible records.
But, I have not been able to put the family together exactly nor can I find out who the father of these Allens may be assuming Nancy was the mother.
Have been told they were related to Collins and Dickeys in the same general area of Georgia.
Any help and any clues would be appreciated. Thanks.
