I can't at this time help you with the Allens, but do have Hannah M. M. Allen married to John Parks, he being a distant cousin. (John, Jonathan, Reuben, SamuelII, Samuel I, Thomas I, John)

I knew that John Parks married a second time, to an Elizabeth but didn't have her surname. More likely than not Hannah and Elizabeth were sisters.

The Parks came out of VA and some moved to Wilkes Co. NC, including Jonathan Parks. He married Elizabeth Cannaday. Here is some info. I received from a descendant of Jonathan Parks:

I will tell you just a bit more about the descendants of Jonathan Parks, b. about 1780, died about 1807 or 08 in Wilkes Co. N.C. He married on 27 Jan. 1800 in Wilkes Co. to Elizabeth Cannady, daughter of Andrew Cannady. They had four children before his death and she posted bond for these four: Polly, Millie, Moses and John Parks. (Elizabeth never remarried)
I know nothing about Polly.
Millie Parks born about 1804-5 married Albert Morrell in Bibb Co., Ga. in 1833 and later lived in Taylor Co., Ga. She had eight children.
Moses Parks, b. about 1803, died about 1887 married Martha (last name unk) and her name Martha is kinda in dispute. Some family tradition has that she was Ella Harris, but I personally saw a Bible that had her name Martha, and also a deed. So she could have been Martha Ella ____? Or some seem to think she was called Susan. I have seen no proof other than that mentioned above about a Martha. They had three known children: Louvenia Ann Parks (b. 1824) who married George Dwight, William Gildersleeve Parks (b. 1827) who married Elizabeth J. Bassett and John Gildersworth Parks, (b. 2-5-1830) who married (1) Mahalie Phillips and had nine children, (2) Jeffersonia Lavenia Carr (Knox) and had six children.
John Parks, b. 25 Feb. 1805 married Hannah M. M. Allen and had eight children. After Hannah's death, I think he married her sister Elizabeth (I did not look this up so don't hold me to the name please)[my note: and I don't have a name of any of these children. PFC]
All of the Parks men that I have known were tall, six feet plus in some instances. And one of the things I remember most was their very correct posture. They were middle class, but hard working people of good character. Where in the world do you suppose they came up with the names Gildersleeve and Gildersworth? Odd isn't it? But could have been some preacher's last names or something! Most of these people settled in middle Georgia in one county or another. [ Kathryn P. Vann ]

And now, to muddy the waters even more, my gg grandfather was Hiram Allen b. bet. 1788-1796 (man was never sure when he was born.). He was married twice, some say the first wife was Carna Eiland (this is possible as Eiland are in my Allen line). He had 4 sons from this first marriage who do not want to be found. They would have been born bet. 1810-1830 going by the census ages, the other known sons from this first marriage was Isom B. Allen & Titus G. Allen.

Hiram married second to Cynthia Wofford (Cooley) and they had several more sons, all born aft 1843 when my gr. grandfather Columbus H. Allen was born. Altogether, Hiram had at least 16 children bet. these two marriages. 10 sons and 6 dtrs.

Hiram Allen was born in SC, moved to Jackson Co. GA, married Cynthia in Jackson Co. on Aug. 11, 1842. They moved to Floyd Co. GA for a short time, (on the 1860 census there) then to Talladega Co. Al where they continued to live until their deaths.

Just in case there is a connection, the man given as Hiram Allen's father was West Allen who lived in Edgefield SC, possibly Orangeburg and moved to Jones Co., GA,then Conecuh Co. AL. Allegedly Hiram was the only son of West Allen, the rest being girls,
Mary (m. Judge Stephen Eiland),
Sarah "Sally M ??
Nancy West, m. Samuel Feagin
Abigail, m. James H. Felts
Martha "Patsy" m.??
Rebecca m. ??
