My great-grandfather was Abner E. Allen. He was born in 1823 in either Rutherfordton or Cleveland, NC. He died in 1900 in Cherokee County, SC. His second wife was Susan C. Smith, born in Georgia. Not sure about 1st wife. Believe it was Juda or Judith Usury. Children were David(1854), Rhoda(1858), Juda Catherine(1873), Uriah Kelly(1875), Susan(1877) and my grandfather James Clark(1879). I am trying to find out who Abner's parents were and also information about his 1st wife and 2nd wife(Susan Smith). If anyone can help, it would be most appreciated.
