Jack, If you read my reply to Howard, you will see I have checked your web site on free pages and find your research confirms the work I have done on descendants of George Allen. I suggested he look at your research as he has some information on Increase Allen who married Rachel wrong and it could help him straighten out his mistakes !
Since Howard posted the information on Samuel Allen, probable son of Increase Allen & Mary Spencer, I have done some research on Samuel Allen & Rachel Buffett. There is some information that states Samuel Allen was born earlier and in Maine. It is NOT correct! The proof is in a Auburn, Cayuga Co., NY history on Samuel's son Isaac Spencer Allen.
