Shubel Allen appears as a signer on a 13 Dec 1805 Montgomery Co., NC petition concerning dams on the Uhary River. An S. Allen is listed in the 1810 Montgomery Co. census (12110 30010) but not in previous or subsequent census years. Does anybody have knowledge of this particular individual?
