Hi Robert,
I have been trying to locate someone in this line for years but had just about given up. I am descended from the William Allen buried in Allen Cemetery, Steuben Co., NY. He had a brother Caleb who lived in Steuben Co. for a time and I think was buried in Smith Pond Cemetery, Steuben Co. Their father was Steven Allen of the Prudence Island Allins.
Are you descended from this line? If so, I sure would be interested in any information you might have. Could you give me your connection to this line? I am interested in locating someone who may still live in the are and is familiar with these two cemeteries.
