I'm also trying to learn more about Robert Allyn and the Park family.. I descend from Robert Park b. England who came to America 1630, via his son Thomas who m. Dorothy Thompson b.1624.. Her father was John and story goes his widow Alice married Robert Park, so Thomas & Dorothy were stepsiblings who married.. Their eldest son Thomas b.1648 seems to have m. Mary Allyn, a dau of Robert Allyn.. My direct ancestor was Martha Park, the oldest child of Thomas & Dorothy and the older sister of Thomas Jr. Park.. The Allyn family married into so many of my New England lines I'm only now trying to unravel them all but it's great to meet another distant cousin via this lineage, happy hunting! :)
