Jon: Sorry it took so long to respond to your 6/25/01 message. I don't think your Evans Ammerson is the one I'm searching for. He never lived in Chicago. As a young man he migrated to Texas and no one knew where he was for quite awhile. When he returned to Georgia he visited his only brother Jessie (or Jesse)and then moved on to Columbus, GA. He married Rosa Connoway. Jessie Amerson is my husband g/father and I'm still searching for his parents. I have finally located some relatives here in Georgia but still need to make connection. Thanks for you concern and wish I could have been more help to you. Dorothy
