Hi All, hoping to find relatives and information on this family line.
Found Nicolas Anaya in 1870 Census records with wife Gertrudis (unk) and several children. He may have been born in La Ventana, Bernalillo, NM around April 1834 (he was 35 in the census).
His daughter, Mercedes (Merced) Anaya is my great grandmother on my father's mother's side. She married Abenicio Gurule (one of three wives, he also married a Maria Anaya) and my grandmother is their daughter Candelaria Gurule, who married Frank Gutierrez.
I am very interested in back tracking this line. I have been particularly lucky to find a Gurule family association and have traced my grandmother's paternal line, but would like to complete her maternal line as well.
