I believe this John Angell is a son of John Angell, a miller in Mercer Co., Pa. I don't have a lot of information, but My ancestor, Martha (Matty) Angel's father was John and she had a brother, John. They were in Mahoning Twp., Mercer Co. Martha married Frederick Dragoo and she Also had a sister, Eleanor married James Ferrell, an 1812 Veteran and later hung himself in his barn.

It's interesting your name is Mercer and you are inquiring about Mercer County families. You must be descended from the Mercer of which the county was named, and do you live in that area?
