Robert Walls, 1880 census, living w/Nelson York

I think I have found my elusive g-grandfather, ROBERT SYDNEY WALLS on the 1880 census of Bradley Co., AR. In the household of a NELSON YORK (age 69, born GA), there is an 11 year old boy named ROBERT WALLS born in AR, whose relationship is listed as "other." This is in Palestine Township, Bradley County. I have already found his sister, FLORA WALLS (age 13, born AR)on the 1880 census of Wilmington Twp., Union County, AR; she is also an "other," living in the household of B.W.M. Warren. Robert Walls was married in Union County, Arkansas and moved to Union Parish, Louisiana; Flora married Asbury Lewis and moved to Florida. Does anyone have a clue as to who their parents were or what became of them? My grandmother once told me that Robert Walls' mother was an Indian. She also thought her grandfather's name was SHADY WALL (my Walls sometimes were listed as Wall, and all use that spelling today); I found a Shady Wall in Union Parish, LA, but he was really too young to be the father of Flora and Robert. Any help over this brick wall would be appreciated.

Mark Hadley, Sterlington, LA
