Has anyone heard of this couple or any relatives of theirs in this area, perhaps in Hoxie or Walnut Ridge. His name was John Thomas and hers was Pauline Anna. They got a marriage license in March 18,1879. In Dec. 1883 she inherited some land from a Christena Smith along with a N. C. Luigo which I assume was a sister. April of 1884, Thomas Tewell was tried the murder of Lewis? Cissel. He did not commit the murder, but confessed to keep his brother inlaw from being hung on the spot for the crime. Thomas was found quilty of the murder. There is a whole story to this and wonder if anyone knows of it or the people involved.
