I just stumbled across something and it got me to thinking that I might be searching the wrong name. I have been told that James Mark or Marks born in Missouri married Melinda Ricketts born in Missouri and had the following children:
Clifton, Martin, Virgie, John H. and Addie Christean
I also have a Missouri Rickard - female in the 1880 Strawberry, Lawrence County, Ar census with 2 daughters:
Annie Rickard 10 MO
Malinda Rickard 7 MO
I recently lost all my family tree info and am having to start over again so I'm pulling out old files..... In doing so, I found in a copy of Sharp County, Arkansas marriages, I show a James Mark 19 of Smithville, Arkansas marrying Malinda Rickard 16 of Smithville, Arkansas on Dec 21, 1890. Of course, this just happened to be on the bottom of a page I had copied on my Malone's and I don't have the next page, which I now desperately need... Do any of these names sound familiar?
