Hi Mike,
I recently learned of a Rogers connection in the Howard and Spurlock lines I am researching. Could you give a little more information about other families connected to Josiah-John-James W. Rogers? The Rogers I am looking for was married to Anna Moore and had a daughter, Rebecca, married to a Joseph Howard. Rebecca Rogers Howard had a daughter, Mary E. Howard, who married a David Gilbert Spurlock....Do any of these names sound familiar to your line of Rogers? There were some other Rogers married to Spurlocks as well. I have not confirmed by records the above Rogers name yet as I just learned it from another writer on the Howard GenForum. But it makes sense looking at the other family informaton. I am told that the father of Rebecca Rogers was ? Rogers who lived at Black Rock Ark. Joseph Howard, the husband of Rebecca Rogers Howard, was a pastor of New Hope Church in Lawrence Co. but I don't know what denomination that was.
