Hi Caroline. I am responding to your message about James A. Barnett. I have him in the 1860 census for Big Creek twp. Do you have that info? He is married to Jane, age 28 and has three children. Living also in Big Creek is a Charles Ware who has a child named Margaret who is 16 and next door to them is a Martha Ware, 64 with two sons at home. The Barnetts also show up in 1880 census for that area.
