According to McLeod's Centennial Memorial History of Lawrence County, which is probably the best quick reference source, the village of Strawberry evolved under three names, none of which were Strawberry Hills. Originally called 'Cathey Town' after the first settler, it was plated as 'Lone Hill," but with the arrival of a post office, became known as "Strawberry."
There is a Strawberry River.
Meanwhile, to address your question more directly...the name Cochran is not uncommon in Lawrence county, with James and Paley Cochran listed in the Strawberry congregation of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church organized by Rev. John Milligan in 1825. (MacLeod, p. 18).
