I have a page from copied while I was at Little Rock's Arkansas History Commission that (in 1921) Duty township was on the East side of Black River. I'm thinking the Portia and Lauratown areas. Maybe this will help you gain insight as to a more narrow area to look for your relatives. Good luck.
