My line is also thought to be (pretty sure, just don't know where) from VA prior to going to NC and then South Carolina, and then my branch came to Arkansas, whereas others went to AL / TN / KY. Some of my branch that settled in eastern AR, later went to Logan Co AR, and then to OK and some to Texas. That's just the bit I know about ...like I said, the COOPERs that were in the Carolinas were an enormous family and though we have a lot of data on them in NC / SC, there are other COOPERs in adjoining counties and some that didn't move with some of the family, and thus there is still a lot to learn.

Maybe we'll find a connection with some digging ...sounds very possible to me.
