In 1920 Lincoln County Auburn Twp, Douglas Town,Roll 70 book 1 page 12, there was a Daniel S. Bowie household in which several people by other surnames were also in residence, all apparantly interrelated. These were black/mulatto families, some of whom later migrated to Chicago and San Diego. Although family recollection shows they should have still been there in 1930 I cannot find them. They should have been in Gould or Douglas Village, but there is only one page of Douglas Village in 1930 - does that make sense - Can anyone give me a direction, or suggestions. Although I am not new to genealogical research, I am new to African American research and can use all the guidance anyone can offer. related These were black/mulatto people and although family history has it they were still there in 1930 I cannot Notify Administrator about this message?
