Elreeta Weathers, a descendant of Clayton Stribling, sent me the following information that explains how the Striblings connected to the Taliafferos and the Catletts. The Webb family connected to the Striblings when Charles Webb married as his second wife, Catherine Stribling, the daughter of Thomas Stribling and Nancy Ann Kincheloe. Catherine Stribling Webb was the mother of Micajah Webb, who married Harriet Benson. She was also the mother of twins Elijah and Elisha -- also Nancy Webb Terry, Francis Webb Clark, Warren Robinson Webb, Clayton S. Webb, and Thomas S. Webb. Micajah Webb and Harriet Benson Webb were the parents of John B. Webb, who came to Arikansas after the Civil War and lived in Yell County. John B. Webb and Sarah F. Croft were the parents of three sons -- James Warren Webb of Polk County, AR., John Pinckney Webb, Charlie Webb, Mary Jane Walker, Sarah Biggs, Martha Brunson, and Ann Alexander?? John Pinckney Webb and Ida Alice Anderson were the parents of Dick Webb of Lincoln County, AR., Leona Brewster of Lincoln County, Viola Lamb (my mother), Irene Ingram, and Bill (Lenard) Webb of Baton Rouge.
