***William S. Brunson married Martha Catherine Webb of Yell County.
***Martha Webb was called Mattie. Her mother was the Sarah F. Croft Webb buried in Petillo Hill Cemetery in Yell County. Mattie was a toddler when she died. Mattie Webb’s father was John B. Webb or J.B. Webb. This family came to Yell County from Attala Co., MS, by the 1870 census. The J. P. Web with the Brunson family in the 1900 census was John Pinckney Webb, the brother of Mattie Brunson, and also my mother’s father.
***The Brunsons eventually moved to Oklahoma.
***The Brunsons of Lincoln County, Arkansas, where Star City is located, are descendants of John K. Brunson and Cynthia Biggs through one of John Brunson’s daughters, whose son was given her maiden name.
