I found a photo of woman, guessing the age 30. On the back was written Miss Mary C AArcher M.D. massacred 1898. I found an article that mentions her murder in Sierra Leone in 1898. I believe she was a member of a Methodist Church effort in Sierra Leone. I cannot look up the census record, because I have no idea her age or place of birth. I wrote the Standard Times Press News Sierra Leone and the Methodist college, but have not recieved any response. I want to return the photo to the family. If some one has information or is a family member, please let me know.
