I am going to visit N.C. in April, and thought it would be interesting to see if I could find the cemetary where our ancestor, John Armfield, is buried. Apparently it is New Garden Graveyard, Guilford Co, NC. Do any of you live in Greensboro, or have visited there? Any ideas? What other historical or genealogy spots should we see? We are from Colorado and have never been to North Carolina. Also, I found a cemetary called "Armfield Cemetary" in Beersheba Springs, Tennessee. I don't think any of our relatives are there, but it might be interesting to drive by.
