Hi, I am searching for a George Arnott, a World War 1 British soldier, service number 18303, a private whom served with the 1st battalion of the King's Own Scottish Borderers. He was wounded in the Balkans - Gallipoli, sometime after 18 July 1915, later discharged and received a Silver War Badge for his wounds. He survived the war, probably returning to Scotland for some time. He then moved to Australia and is known to have lived there in the 1930s-1940s, possibly longer. My grandfather might have saved this gentleman's life during the Great War and I am searching for this friend of my grandfather and his descendants. - feel free to pass this along to other Arnotts Can you be of any help? Kind regards, Brian Filbey Notify Administrator about this message?
