Greenville Arthur & Frances Dacon -- family papers

I have some items that once belonged to Greenville and Frances Arthur that some of their other descendants may find interesting. I own the originals and don't believe they've ever been published anywhere (my great aunt Myrtle may have sent a copy or two out over the years, but to my knowledge, I'm the only one who has these). I just ran across some transcriptions that I typed up several years ago & thought I'd post them here. I have a few more items (letter from Greenville to his daughter Nannie & letter from ?Thomas? -- going from memory here -- that he wrote to his mother while camped somewhere during the civil war) that I either didn't transcribe or just haven't run across the files yet -- I'll look for them & post them when I can.
