Hi Peter! I'm descended from a George McCullan Aukamp (b. Aug. 30, 1864) who, according to what I know of him, was born in Germany. He died in 1966 -- yes, at 102! I have no idea what part of Germany he would be from. George lived in Lancaster Co., PA, USA. Do you have any other info on your line? There are not a lot of Aukamp's around in the US...that I know of.
