Hi Carolyn!
I'm wondering if your Michael Auman's Fianna is my great-great- grandmother. I have a Fianna Auman, born approx. 1850 in Walker Twp., Juniata Co. near Mifflintown, who married Daniel Fogelman, a farmer. Daniel and Fianna (spelled variously Fianna or Fiana in family records) had seven children, two of which were Elizabeth and Foster Fogelman. Elizabeth, my great- grandmother, married Clarence Noah Smith, and they too had seven children, of which my grandmother, Ethel, was one.
(I mention Foster because of a quirk in my tree - he, as an uncle, and Ethel, his niece, married an aunt and nephew of another branch of my family.)
The entire family basically lived in either Mifflintown or McAlisterville, PA all their lives.
I'm hoping there might be some sort of connection here between our Fiannas! If not, thanks for reading my ramblings! :)
