Hello, Trying to trace William Joseph or Joseph William Avery born ca 1832 in United States. His family may of come from Down, Ireland. Some think he was born in Ireland? Some family believe no. Last rumor is he may? of come through New York and or was born here about 1832 or 1845. I wish I had more clues He died in 1993. William or Joseph married a Mary Hopkins born 10 April 1841 in Springfield, INDIANA died 10 Sep 1935 Utica Judith Basin MT. She was a "Civil War Bride" married 1864. She lived for a while in Mt. Kansas, maybe Washington state? But in 1880 William we think may of been in Drywood, Burbon County, Kansas. We know they had at least one son Joseph Henry Avery. born 1876 Kansas. Goal is to trace Mary Hopkins family and to see if I can locate any data on her husband William Avery Averry/ or on Joseph William Avery. Thank you so very much
