okay all South Georgia--North Florida AVERY KIN, I recently heard that John Thomas Avery and his wife Mary Deen Avery, had another child besides-- Daniel Thomas Avery (who was approx 3 or 4 when his parents died), rumor is that they also had a little girl, and that Daniel Thomas Avery went to live with Mary's Brother James Deen in Bainbridge Ga (this is a fact), and that the little girl was raised by John Thomas Avery's family? and that they lived in Jackson Co. Florida. Does anyone have proof or passed down info as to how John and Mary died? I have heard many different "stories" some say they both died of illness (but on the same day?), some say they were attacked by Indians, and that Daniel was found hiding in the woodbox beside the stove, where his Mom/Dad had put him, others say they drown...but I believe this is confused with a newspaper article of when Daniel Thomas Avery's grandson and his wife drown..many years later.
